Cancer Survivor Gives Heartfelt Advice, Reveals 9 ‘Kitchen’ Items That Should Be Discarded
Seven-Year Cancer Survivor Shares Heartfelt Tips on 9 Kitchen Items She’s Thrown Out and Replaced, Says She Feels a Change
Although cancer is a serious threat, consumers can reduce their risk by making smart choices and taking precautions.

Michelle Patidar, a nutrition and cancer recovery coach from Chicago, USA, revealed on social media that she is still battling cancer even after surviving it, and has been sharing how she has been taking care of herself ever since.
In a recent video on social media, Patidar revealed a list of “things you’ll never find in my kitchen” after being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 32. After completing her cancer treatment, she made a major change to her kitchen, getting rid of these items immediately.
“But it’s not like I do it all at once. I make changes gradually, and when I do ditch these things, I opt for safer options. It takes time, but I feel more in control of my health knowing that I’m removing harmful substances from my kitchen!” she says.
9 Things to Stop Using and What to Replace Them
- Chemically extracted oils are converted to pure olive oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, ghee and grass-fed butter.
- Non-stick cookware has been replaced with stainless steel and cast iron cookware.
- Aluminum foil is replaced with unbleached baking paper.
- Plastic containers and ziplock bags have been replaced with glass containers and paper bags (she calls this the “easiest change” and tries to avoid plastic as much as possible).
- Scented candles transformed into essential oils
- Plastic water bottles are changed to glass bottles and stainless steel bottles.
- Plastic cutting board changed to a wooden cutting board
- Processed foods: Switch to natural foods and snacks that are free of sugar, artificial colors, or harmful preservatives.
- Replace harsh chemical cleaners with safer cleaning products.
“And what’s amazing is that I actually felt a change,” she said.
Health is all-around care.
Patidar told Fox News Digital that as a seven-year cancer survivor, she realizes the importance of holistic health care.
“Nutrition and exercise are important, but we also need to be mindful of the things around us. Such as our environment and the โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที products we use every day. Our choices, whether they be cleaning products, the quality of air and water in our homes, or even the kitchen appliances we use, all have an impact on our overall health,” she says.
“Even small items like plastic water bottles or food containers can have long-term health effects,” she added.
She believes these changes, along with choosing safer cookware, can help reduce exposure to harmful chemicals and microplastics.
Patidar said that focusing on good quality fats and oils instead of consuming processed foods can help reduce chronic inflammation. Which plays an important role in preventing and recovering from cancer.
